What a month. After being placed 5th in the Luxury Hideaways category among Switzerland’s 101 Best Hotels 2026, we have now also been honoured in the 101 Best Hotels DACH 2026 ranking. It is a double distinction that took the whole team rather by surprise, and quietly moved us all.
These two rankings look across hundreds of houses in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, and they are not decided by marble lobbies or the number of rooms. They reward something harder to measure: atmosphere, consistency, and the feeling of being genuinely looked after. For a family-run hotel of twenty-nine rooms above Vaduz, to be named among the very best in both lists in the same season is something we do not take for granted.
And in truth, an award like this isn’t really about us. It speaks of the moments we are allowed to share with you: the first coffee on the terrace as the valley wakes, a dish at Restaurant Marée, the quiet luxury of having your name remembered at the door. As a member of the Relais & Châteaux family, that is the promise we renew every single day, and recognition like this simply tells us we are on the right path.
