From the Sonnenhof, most of Vaduz is a five- to ten-minute stroll, and the rest of the Principality (Schaan, Triesen, Triesenberg, Malbun) is only minutes away by car or bus. LGT Alpine Marathon, 13 June. One of the Alps’ most spectacular mountain marathons, from the Rhine up to Malbun.
FL1.LIFE Festival, 3–4 July. Liechtenstein’s largest music festival, in nearby Schaan.
National Day, 15 August. The social highlight of the year, ending with grand fireworks at 10 pm right above Vaduz Castle.
Vaduz Classic, 27–29 August. A top-tier open-air classical festival in the heart of the old town.
